March Madness...

And I'm not talking basketball! Although I must say "Go Panthers"!!

I can't believe this month is half over. I have been informed that my readers are awaiting an update so here goes...
We have been busy beavers here at the Burley house. Rob has yet to get a day off except for Sundays this month, and has been putting in 12 hour days. We are thankful he is here in town so he doesn't have to add a 2 hour comute time on top of that. He had to go to Des Moines to do a drivers training class on the 11th & 12th. We purchased an Eliptical machine with our x-mas $$ in hopes to get into shape. He, Jaydin, & I assembed while watching the Linn Mar girls b.ball team win the state tournament. Jeremey has been our travelin man...he just got back from Fla. where he spent spring break with the band, chorus, & orchestra group from school. He had a blast and is looking pretty tan. He also was involved in the backstage crew for the play "Sleeping Beauty" at school. He has started Mime practice at church for the annual Passion of Christ that will be performed the week of Easter, this coupled with Jazz festivals, end of the year Swim banquet, playing in the pep band for state b-ball, and interviewing for a summer job at the pool, has kept him hopping. Jaydin has wrapped up her basketball season, delivered all those girl scout cookies sold, worked a cookie booth, presented an Explorer project at school and has begun research on a famous person for the next report. They have begun the process of introducing the kids to Middle School in prep for next year & she is intensely practicing her dances for a competition that is coming up the first part of April. I have been burried in a Girl Scout cookie inferno trying to reconcile the troops orders and recognitions. I got the all clear on my foot from the Dr. and have been able to shed the cast and night splint...it is a new found freedom of movement. With that I have been working more hours at EB. Jaydin and I took a little road trip to KC to spend a couple days with my sister Jo and her family. It was a refreshing break from the madness. Now back to reality...I need to finish getting the taxes prepped so Rob can do them. We are going to try to have some quality family time before this spring break is over.

Speaking of Spring....we are now able to see the ground and it is looking pretty green...YEAH! (Snow is predicted for this weekend, but it won't last)

3 Cheers to March Madness!!! Here, Here!
