Take Me Out to the Ball Game.....

Yep, that sums up our week!  We have spent 5 of the last 7 days working at the Kernals stadium.  Taking tickets at the gate, and working the wristband stations as a fundraiser for Jaydin's DC trip.  Despite the weather it has really been fun. The first night felt more like football weather than baseball, but I love the energy of the ballpark and getting to know the season ticket holders.  It is always fun to people watch...I get a kick out of all the characters that come to the games.  Trust me it takes ALL kinds to make the world go round.  As some of you remember from 5 yrs ago, we worked the Kernals games for Jeremey's trip to DC, however back in the day we did clean up after the game, which truly could qualify for the show "Dirty Jobs".  It was a real character building experience.  We are thankful for the opportunity to work the gates vs cleanup this year.  We still have the opportunity to do clean up as well, but the jury is still out on whether we will sign up for that again.  For now we will enjoy our time at the ballpark greeting and welcoming the guests through the gates.
