This last week of summer has been jam packed, seems like we started the summer break off this way too. Jeremey has been busy with Marching Band camp daily with fittings for uniforms and wake up call breakfasts added in. Jaydin wrapped up her summer dance classes and now we have a week off before fall classes begin. We have gotten all the registration details taken care of and school supplies purchased. We managed to sneak up to the farm for a couple days and get some sweet corn done and hang out with Mom & Dad and Bryan & Austin. The stormy weather yesterday provided the perfect excuse to do some cleaning and rearranging of the living room. Rob & Jeremey were good sports about it. Jaydin is getting in that last summer sleepover at Rachel's house. I look at the calendar in disbelief that school will start on Wed. where has summer gone? Jeremey continues with Band Camp today and tomorrow along with a potluck tonight and pictures tomorrow morning. Jaydin gets to drop off her supplies at school tomorrow and meet her teacher....not that it will be a first meeting, she knows her very well as Jeremey had Mrs. Gansen for 5th grade also. We were very excited to get her for a teacher.
So there you have it...summer is over and school routines/activities begin full swing by the end of this week! I guess I will just soak up these last two days and get ready for the roller coaster ride ahead.
