TAXI PLEASE!!!

Saturday Itinerary:

7:00am- depart for scout camp to pick up boys for band
7:30am- depart from scout camp and head to school to drop boys off
8:00am- drop boys at school and return home
8:30am- pick up Jaydin at home to go to parade (stop at Drugtown for some breakfast)
9:30am- arrive in Marion and seek out parking spot
10:15am- parade begins (LM Band leads parade this year)
10:45am- leave parade after seeing about 25 of the 198 entries and fight traffic to get back to school
11:00am- pick up boys from school and swing by home to get dry clothes & drop off Jaydin
11:30am- Jaydin to birthday party
11:45am- Swing through Mc Donald's to fuel boys and return them to scout camp
12:30pm- Drop boys at scout camp and return home

1:15pm- PHONE CALL FROM RACHEL---I SUSPECT A SLEEPOVER IS ABOUT TO BE THROWN INTO THE MIX  WHICH MEANS MORE TAXI SERVICE REQUIRED THIS EVENING.

2:00pm- get Jaydin from birthday party
2:30pm- Pick up Erin and take girls to dance
4:30pm- Pick up girls from dance and return home


And so goes another Saturday in our lives...100 miles logged on the van and I never left the county.  It's all good though.  Thankful that my kids are active and engaged in the community and with good friends.  I am sure there will come a day when I miss these Saturdays.

I agree, enjoy it, I always did, felt like I was part of you kids world when I was taxi-ing you around. I don't understand when I hear Mom's say they just aren't going to do that, they are missing out on so much of their kids lives. I really didn't mind it at all. Just make it work!! Mom
