Wax Museum

ANNIE OAKLEY
One of the first Women's libest of our history.  In the early 1900's she was the first woman sharpshooter in America.  She joined Buffalo Bill Cody's Wild West show and became a famous entertainer, showing off her skills and expert shot.  She proved that women could do more than just cook and clean in her day.

Jaydin's class has been working on doing a biographical research project.  It crossed over in both language arts, reading and social studies applying all facets to the project.  They wrapped up the project today with a public wax museum that was displayed for the parents and students to tour.  They had to pose like their historic person for a solid hour.  It was awesome the kids all did such a great job.  It was great to see their interests and creativity displayed.
