No, although that was the question of the week everywhere we went. This is simply a Swim Team ritual/bonding experience. About 2 weeks before the conference meet the boys all get together to have pizza and die thier hair the school colors (black or red). It shows thier school pride I am told. So Jeremey went black....it really wasn't that bad, but when he wore a black t-shirt to church everyone asked what was up. I was glad he went black vs red, as the kid that went red has strawberry shortcake red hair. All in the name of fun though. Stay tuned, I am told the next phase of this team ritual/bonding experience is that they all get together before districts and shave thier hair (in order to take time off their swim and not have any resistance). Honestly Jeremey can't wait for this phase as he doesn't usually let his hair get this long. He has had a great season so far and we are looking forward to wrapping it up in a few weeks at districts/state tournament.

what's wrong with red, we're a little partial to red over here....maybe not strawberry shortcake red though!
