Winter Lasagna

No it isn't a new recepie....it's the best way I can come up with to describe the weather conditions. It all started with a sprinkle of sleeting rain, followed up with a layer of salt and sand, next came a layer of pretty fluffy big flakes of snow followed by a layer of small wind blown flurries. Another layer of salt and sand and then yet another layer of very cold, crisp snowflakes (they sparkled like little diamonds in the street last night). So after more than 12 inches of snow in the last 5 days, when you look at the side of the road it looks like the side of a dish of lasagna. Okay so I may be stretching the metaphor here, but really take a look and tell me if you agree.
So here's the best way to enjoy a serving of Winter Lasagna: Grab a blanket, a cup of hot cocoa, your favorite sweatshirt, a pair of slippers and snuggle in on the couch and watch your favorite movie. Or perhaps grab the family and play a board game. Or bake some yummy chocolate chip cookies (leave the oven door open afterwards as it helps heat the kitchen) ENJOY!
On second thought I think I will make lasagna for supper tonight!!

All I know, is that you can keep that winter lasagna up there! Although, the other lasagna sounds very yummy :)
