That's a Wrap !

Last night we wrapped it up with the final regular season swim meet. Hosted by Waterloo West. It was kind of sad to think that the swim season is over, but we are looking forward to having a little more time on our hands. Thanks to G'ma & G'pa Mehmen for traveling to support and cheer Jeremey on. He had a great season! He got a lot of swim time, marked many personal best times, and was able to swim in quite a few Varsity events...which is an accomplishment as a Freshman (yes, I am a proud Mom doing a little bragging here). Anyway we are really proud of Jeremey and are looking forward to the summer season. Above Jeremey celebrates his personal best times in the 50 free and 100 free events!! Okay he is probably trying to show off his muscles a little bit too!!
Check out the hair....he buzzed it Tues. after school. When we went to the stylist I heard him tell her that he wanted her to use a #2 blade all over. She paused and said "all over" ? He confirmed and then she said "are you sure, you realize that is really short" ? He confirmed and then she glanced at me to affirm that I was okay with it. Once he explained the whole swim team bonding situation she relaxed and went to it. Apparently some of the kids at school didn't even recognize him the next day. Quite a change from the mop of hair in the previous photo. He never has liked letting his hair grow long. Way to take one for the team Jeremey!
