Confirmed in Christ

On April 8th, 1994 we stood before God with our families and had Jeremey Baptized. We along with our families and his baptizmal sponsors (Uncle Brent and Auntie Dawn) promised to raise Jeremey in the church, to teach him the Lord's prayer and the Creed. To teach him about Christ, the Bible, and God's love for us all. On October 26th, 2008 after growing up going to S.S. and attending youth group, and completing 2 years of intense confirmation instruction; Jeremey stood before God and our church family and made his Faith his own. He believes because he chooses to believe and attends church and youth group because he chooses to attend. What a blessing to see him grow into the faithful young man that he is. It was a blessing to hear him read his Faith Statement and share his theology and what Christ means to him at this stage in his life. He is now a voting member of our church and continues on his faith journey. Our prayer is that Jeremey always walk with God and share his faith with others. God Bless You, Jeremey!!

Thank you to all who traveled to be witness, those who called him on his special day, those who sent him cards and blessings, and those who weren't able to be present, but were present in spirit. Mostly thanks to all who have kept Jeremey in your prayers over the past few years while he went through instruction and decided to make his faith his own and confirm his baptismal vows as his own vows to continue his walk with God.
