And the Award goes to....

Jeremey Burleyfor Academic Excellence in achieving a 3.59 GPA for the 2008-09 school year.

The auditorium was filled with ~180 of the 600+ students that make up the class of 2012. One by one they called their names and presented them with their letter awards and certificates. I have to admit my heart swelled a little with pride as he walked across the stage to shake the hand of the principal. Then my eyes swelled a little with tears as the vision hit me of him walking across the stage in a cap and gown, and realizing that it is only 2 years away....ahhhhhh!! I want to dig my heals in the ground and slow things down.
