The annual Youth Photo Scavenger Hunt took place last evening. We met down at church and divided into teams. Each group was given a list of photos that they must take. All youth +1 of the adult chaperones must pose in each photo. We were not allowed to do anything illegal, inconvenience other people, or go into the home of a stranger. We had 21 things to document and 1 hour to do it in. What a blast.....below are a couple photos of our group:
Jaydin, Emily, Tristin, Bryce and myself having our photo taken with the "green eggs & ham" book. The list below are some of the other things we had to do:
Jaydin, Emily, Tristin, Bryce and myself having our photo taken with the "green eggs & ham" book. The list below are some of the other things we had to do:- stand by a fire hydrant
- stand together in a shower
- sit on a riding lawn mower
- make a human pyramid under a tree
- have photo taken with a can of spam
- have picture taken on a slide
- take a photo in a train car
- take photo on a cobblestone/brick street
- do the tango in front of a church (not our own)
- everyone do a cartwheel at the same time....
above we pose with a pumpkin that my friend Cristie had at her house. She was also kind enough to throw on her Hawkeye t-shirt and pose with us for a photo. I am happy to report that our group conquered all 21 tasks in 45min. and were the first group to return to the church. When all the groups returned we downloaded each groups photos and viewed them, shared the stories behind the photos and had some really good laughs. Good Times, Good Times!
