The phone rings at 3:00p yesterday afternoon and it is Jeremey...
Hey Mom, it's me, I just wanted to let you know that I am going to go to art club after school today and will need to be picked up at 4:30pm.
Me: Did you say Art club? what is Art Club?
J: It's a club where you do art stuff.
Me: Hmm. I didn't know you were interested in art.
J: Well I don't have anything on right after school and I am bored so some friends asked if I wanted to come to art club.
Me: Which friends?
J: Just some of my friends.
Me: Well who are they?
J: sigh....(I hear giggling in the background)
Me: would you like me to stop interrogating you and just come pick you up at 4:30?
J: Uh yea, that would be nice. Pick me up at the band doors.
Me: okay, have fun and I'll see you then.
THIS HAS G.I.R.L. WRITTEN ALL OVER IT!!! Not that there is anything wrong with him participating in Art Club...it's just that any of you that know him know that this has never been an interest of his. So after futher interrogation last evening we learned that the art club is doing a float for homecoming and they are doing a papermache' lion etc. and could use some help; and YES...a certain young lady is in art club. Too Cute! :-)!

love it! I loved making floats...do they still do the chicken wire and paper towels and spray paint, or are they way high-tech now????
