At 9am the van pulled up and with great excitment I met the installers at the door. They came in and assessed the situation and got to work hauling in the padding. The supervisor came to me and said "do you have the heat on?" Of course I didn't...many of you are aware, I am kind of stingy when it comes to heating the house. Trying to keep the cost down and all. I jokingly said to the guy....I can't afford to turn on the heat, I just bought new carpet! He laughed and then explained that the carpet is stiff and would roll out better if it were warm in the house. I looked at the themometer and it was only 58 degrees in the house...I guess that is a little chilly. So I turned it on begrungingly and set it to 68 in attempt to warm it up a little. Anything for the carpet...
